British Columbia Biotechnology Circle

BCBC has had a member on the Canadian Delegation to the Codex Labeling Committee since 1993, with attendance at most CCFL meetings since then. BCBC has also arranged for other NGO representatives to sit in on these meetings and has reported on Codex in general, and on these meetings in particular... Click here for more information.

 

The Washington Sustainable Food & Farming Network

The Washington Sustainable Food & Farming Network (the Network) is a grassroots, statewide advocacy organization for sustainable agriculture and family farms in Washington State. Through education, grassroots organizing, policy advocacy and lobbying, the Network has become a leading voice for sustainable agriculture and a key catalyst for change in food and farming policies and practices in Washington State.

Council for Responsible Genetics

The CRG was the world's first public-interest organization to raise issues on the safety and ethics of genetic engineering. Its focus encompasses both human genetic engineering and environmental/agricultural programs, in institutional contexts. Click here for more information.

 

The Campaign to Label Genetically Engineered Food

Located in Seattle, the Campaign has been active in public education about genetic engineering and in supporting national and local legislation to require the labeling of GE foods.
